Webinar - 10 Reasons You Should Be Using Social Media

Two EPIP members from the NYC Chapter - Sadia Kalam of Cause Effective and Erin Barnes of ioby - led an interactive webinar focused on how and why to use social media for professional development. They covered several case studies demonstrating how the social sector is using social media to make real change using digital tools. They also discussed how to be effective social media users while also making the most of limited time. Sadia and Erin provided resources as well, focusing more on Twitter than on the other platforms. The event was live-tweeted by staff.
