Programs

EPIP's programs support emergent leaders in the philanthropic sector to develop their skills and grow as leaders oriented towards equity and justice. At EPIP, two core beliefs shape our programming: 1) leaders never stop emerging, and 2) every choice point is an opportunity to advocate or choose equity.

The majority of our programs are designed for those relatively new to philanthropy. That spans folks for whom their philanthropy job is one of their first jobs, folks that are transitioning into philanthropy from social movements, senior leaders stepping into philanthropy from other sectors, or anyone else who has found themselves newly situated in the philanthropic ecosystem.

Check out our signature program, Philanthropology as a primer to the field and a great supplement to your onboarding. Our quarterly workshops offer hard and soft skills for navigating the sector and career. Our communities of practice are member-only spaces to deepen your practice with peers who share similar identities in their work. You can also tap in to one of our incredible chapters who convene in-person and virutal programming, or visit with us on the road when we're at partner conferences.

Lastly, save the date for EPIP2026: Chicago! June 29-July 1, downtown Chicago. Registration will launch in early 2026.
