Q&A

I am a seasoned practitioner. Can I still get involved?

A:

EPIP is committed to advancing inter-generational learning. This includes a model mentoring program at our New York City chapter, and plans for an advisory committee. If you are a seasoned grant maker or philanthropic practitioner, please contact us with your thoughts and questions. We hope to find ways to work with you.

If you are new to grantmaking but are not a young adult, our resources may still be helpful to you. Please contact us to let us know how we might be able to support your needs.

I am an emerging practitioner in philanthropy. How can I get involved?

A:

EPIP events and projects happen because of the work of a dedicated group of talented volunteers, and you are invited to join us. Click here to learn how you can join EPIP.

Once you are a member, you can become an active participant in our online membership community.

You can also volunteer with your local EPIP chapter. Each EPIP chapter has a steering committee and volunteer meetings that serve as regular opportunities to plan, network and discuss substantive issues.

If you would like to help start a chapter in your area, please contact us.

How can I help EPIP or make a contribution?

A:

EPIP is as great as its members and supporters make it. We look to you to add value for others, through sharing your wealth, wisdom, or work. We encourage you to donate now and support EPIP’s future. Click here to donate online.

Or, contact us to let us know what you might have to offer, and we will help custom-tailor an action plan to suit your needs and availability, and to benefit the broader EPIP membership. Institutional memberships – providing all staff members full access to membership benefits – can also be arranged.

Where do I send my membership dues?

A:

You can join or renew online, or by mail.

As a project of the Tides Center, all payments to EPIP must be made out to “EPIP/Tides Center” and mailed to the EPIP National office:

Attn: Biz Ghormley, Membership & Operations Associate
EPIP @ Centre for Social Innovation
601 West 26th Street Suite #325-22
