Offsite: Youth Philanthropy

Unfortunately this session is completely sold out. Spots remain in this offsite learning experience exploring music, social change, youth and culture in Baltimore.

Youth As Resources (YAR) is a youth-led grantmaking, community organizing and leadership development organization.  They provide funding (grants), training and support for their peers to develop projects that address critical issues and make positive change in the community.

This offsite learning experience, facilitated by YAR, will provide a hands-on learning opportunity to explore and discuss “Youth Adult Partnerships”. There will be a facilitated workshop to:

  • Learn about how youth-adult philanthropic partnerships can work;

  • Address the stereotypes young people and adults bring to the table about one another;

  • Explore The way philanthropy can be influenced, guided and led by youth.

Organized by EPIP friend and ally Jonalyn Denlinger, Association of Baltimore Area Grantmakers
