ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a mission-focused, digitally-savvy, strategic Marketing & Sales Program Director to help evolve our programming to support small businesses in the digital age. This position offers a unique opportunity for a marketing expert to shape our programming and enable small businesses to grow their brands online. You will be a key member of the leadership team and responsible for overseeing the strategy and execution of the Marketing &; Sales Program, ensuring that our clients receive high quality marketing support and that we deepen our corporate partnerships to activate programming and sales opportunities.
This is a dynamic role — you might be designing a new programming slate one day, leading a marketing workshop or collaborating with a corporate partner the next. The ideal candidate is an experienced digital marketing or programming professional, and/or has experience as an entrepreneur or implementing marketing strategies at a startup company. Ideally, you also have experience teaching marketing to others, either in the workplace, accelerator programs, events, or through blogs/digital content. Additionally, you are an organized self-starter with strong communication skills and the ability to motivate those around you.
You should be comfortable with change, adept at prioritizing for execution, and are an equal parts leader and team player, with a roll-up-their-sleeves attitude. Most importantly, you are passionate about supporting small businesses, social justice, and all things marketing.
