This virtual event will be focused on unpacking Trust-Based Philanthropy as a means to practice more equitable grantmaking. Two recent articles from Alliance Magazine will help us spur discussion around the topic - Is the trust-based philanthropy bubble to burst? and We’re here to clear the air on what trust-based philanthropy is and what it isn’t. We encourage you to read both articles before our time together.
Our hopes for this Article Club are to facilitate an intimate conversation to share our experiences practicing Trust-Based Philanthropy and the benefits and drawbacks of this grantmaking approach.
