The Black Funders Network of the Bay Area (BFN), Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy (EPIP) Bay Area Chapter, and Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy (AAPIP) are partnering together to host "2024 Election Series: Impacts on Bay Area Black & Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) Communities". The program will focus on understanding the key issues at stake, engaging community and philanthropic leaders, and fostering cross-racial solidarity to advocate for stronger social impact.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Raquiba LaBrie, Vice President of Programs at the San Francisco Foundation (SFF), and former BFN Co-Chair (2023-2024). Her work and oversight ensures that SFF utilizes all its tools and networks to advance racial equity and economic inclusion in the Bay Area. Her unique perspective will help to shape a meaningful and insightful program for attendees at all levels of philanthropic and social impact communities of practice. We are excited to welcome her as the moderator. Stay tuned for speaker announcements in the near future!
