Do you think your foundation’s nonprofit status prevents you from supporting grantees’ public policy advocacy? Do you think your public or private foundation must stay away from advocating for community change? Think again! In this workshop, you'll learn the basics of nonprofit advocacy, as well as your foundation’s rights to maximize advocacy impact at the local, state, and even national level.

Please join the Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy Bay Area Chapter and Alliance for Justice's Bolder Advocacy initiative for a training on grantee rights and responsibilities for engaging in advocacy, plus advocacy rights and responsibilities for both public and private foundations.

Light refreshments will be served. Join us for an off-site happy hour networking opportunity after the workshop!
