EPIP Bay Area | A Taste of Coaching

Are you struggling to manage your boss? Do you wonder what career move is next for you? Are you having trouble articulating what impact you want to have and how you will make it happen? Join EPIP on August 13th for A Taste of Coaching! This workshop for emerging leaders will take you on a journey to explore the ins and outs of a powerful tool for addressing these types of questions: coaching for social sector leaders.

We will learn more about what coaching is and isn’t as well as learn a handful of coaching skills that will support you in managing up, managing others, as well as having influence without formal authority. You will leave the session with a taste of coaching, an initial toolkit of coaching skills to try out in your workplace, and greater clarity on your personal values -- a practical method for making fulfilling decisions in your work and life.

This workshop will be led by Rebecca Altman, Director at Third Plateau Social Impact Strategies. In her role as Director, Rebecca leverages her experience in social entrepreneurship and professional coaching to support and spark transformation in social sector leaders through Third Plateau’s coaching and philanthropic advising practices.
