Who can attend the conference?

EPIP 2026 is an inclusive and dynamic gathering for philanthropy folks who are passionate about fostering equity and justice and want to find their people within the sector. Attendees at our past conferences and events include emerging and seasoned professionals, nonprofit leaders, philanthropists, activists, and advocates committed to driving positive social change.

EPIP 2026 is a unique space where attendees can network, share knowledge, and collaborate with those dedicated to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion in philanthropy. Whether you are an aspiring changemaker, an established leader, or someone eager to engage in meaningful discussions around social impact, EPIP 2026 is for you.

Still not sure? We’re here to help! Email us at [email protected].

What time will the conference begin and end?

Programming will begin by 10 am Monday morning, June 29th, and conclude by 2 pm on July 1. There will be optional networking space on Sunday evening June 28 for attendees already in Chicago.

Is the event in‑person, virtual, or hybrid?

This will be an in-person only event. Main stage plenaries will be available to watch through the app for conference attendees in real time.

How can I propose a session?

Our call for sessions is open through February 25, 2026. However, we will consider individual session ideas from trusted EPIP partners on a case-by-case basis, as well as local arts and culture engagements. If you have programming you want to propose to the EPIP audience, please email [email protected] by March 11th, 2025.

Are scholarships or discounted tickets available?

We are offering five scholarships for EPIP members who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend. Scholarships will cover registration and up to 3 nights of hotel. To submit your application for a scholarship, please complete this form. Scholarships are due March 20, 2026.

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

Registrations may be cancelled for a refund (less $100 processing fee) if cancellation request is received in writing by Friday, May 29th. All cancellations must be submitted in writing and emailed to [email protected].

Registration substitutions are accepted. The substitution deadline is Friday, May 29th. All substitutions after this date will be processed on-site. Please email substitution requests to [email protected].

What are the health and safety measures for EPIP2026?

Please take a look at our 'health and safety' tab to hear more about what we have planned.

What if I need additional accommodations to participate?

We have a question about this in our registration form, but if you need to discuss accommodations before considering participation, please contact [email protected]. We look forward to working together to find solutions to allow you to participate!

How do I know if I'm an EPIP member?

EPIP membership is open to institutions and individuals working at any level and in any role in the philanthropic sector. If your employer is an institutional member of EPIP, then you and all staff members are automatically EPIP members.

Our individual membership is open to any individuals in the philanthropic sector. Dues are usually $150, but if you bundle with our conference membership, you get a discounted rate of $125.

EPIP will be monitoring membership status. We will reach out with any necessary updates regarding your membership status. If you want to confirm your current membership status, please email [email protected] before registering.

Are there sponsorship opportunities?

We would love to connect with you about supporting the EPIP conference. Please email our Director of Programs, Elyse Gordon, to discuss potential opportunities!

I need help making the case to my employer - do you have advice?

We know that many of our members may need additional support to justify attending a professional conference with their professional development funds. If you need help drafting a letter to send to your employer, please consult this guide and save a copy to revise and make it your own!
