EPIP Bay Area invites you to join fellow Oaklanders for our first-ever EPIP Salon, an informal, intimate gathering to get to know peers and colleagues in your area and build community over dinner and conversation.

Given the success of our Article Clubs and feedback from members on wanting more opportunities to connect with colleagues in philanthropy in a more informal way, we are piloting Bay Area Salons, inspired by our friends at the EPIP LA chapter.

For our inaugural Salon we’re posing the following question, which we'll discuss over dinner and drinks at the home of one of our Steering Committee members:

What type of philanthropy do you think would benefit Oakland the most given our current political environment and during this time of rapid change for the city?

The Salon is open to anyone. In the spirit of building local community we particularly encourage members who live in Oakland to attend. Attendance will be capped at 15 people.

We look forward to seeing what grows out of these gatherings. If members like the idea, we'll host more Salons in different neighborhoods around the Bay Area.
