Join EPIP Bay Area’s Article Club, “Philanthropy and the Solidarity Economy” on May 3, 2022 at 4:30pm. This virtual event will be focused on learning about the report “Solidarity Not Charity: A Rapid Report” by Grantmakers in the Arts and how the philanthropic sector can participate in a shift from market-based economics to the Solidarity Economy in their grantmaking and their internal practices.
Our hopes for this Article Club are to facilitate a conversation about what the Solidarity Economy is, what roles philanthropy can play and/or already is playing in this work, and to share knowledge about work other organizations are doing that we can bring back to our workplaces.
