Article Club: Dissonance & Disconnects

Join EPIP for our next article club on Wednesday, October 3rd, 5:30-7pm at Lost and Found in Oakland.

We will dig into EPIP’s latest report, Dissonance & Disconnects, which examines the professional and personal experiences of early-and mid-career practitioners in philanthropy and how they see (or don't see) their futures in the sector.

A few key findings:

Only 22% of respondents see a future for themselves at their institutions

Only 21% of respondents perceive the culture of philanthropy to be inclusive of all backgrounds

Only 51% of respondents perceive philanthropy to be an effective player in social change

Where do your experiences fall? What can we do to support each other in improving these stats? What do they mean for our work?
