EPIP DC 2020 Steering Committee Application Instructions

Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy (EPIP) is a national network of philanthropy professionals and social entrepreneurs who strive for excellence and equity in the practice of philanthropy. The sustainability and vibrancy of EPIP’s 16 local chapters is only possible through the diverse contributions of chapter leaders and members like you. We expect this application to take anywhere from 20-25 minutes to complete. Submit completed applications by October 25, 2019 at 11:59pm. Selected candidates will be contacted by a Steering Committee member to schedule a phone interview and may be asked to provide a resume.
Steering Committee positions are open to anyone eligible for EPIP membership in the Greater Washington D.C. region. Steering Committee members must maintain active EPIP membership throughout their tenure.
Steering Committee terms are January 1 to December 31. Steering Committee members are elected to a two-year term that is renewable for an additional third year.
We find the time commitment to average about 5-7 hours a month, depending on your position, with a planning retreat each year. All Steering Committee members are expected to participate in EPIP DC Steering Committee meetings (1.5 hours) in person or by phone and most programming events.
