Resilient Strategies (RS) is an organization that provides a robust and values-aligned infrastructure that is nimble, agile and responsive to program, political and campaign demands while maintaining compliance and efficiency for its partner organizations working for social justice. Within the Resilient Strategies Network, partner organizations can tap into the benefits of easily sharing staff and resources across multiple political projects (whether they be 501c3s, 501c4s, PACs, or other entities) with a consolidated backend to handle financial and legal services, cost allocation, human resources and payroll/benefits management, grants and contract management, technology infrastructure and support, and other core services.
As a movement operations organization, we believe in building thoughtful systems that support a people-powered movement. We’re providing backend support to our partner organizations, increasing their ability to build power and fight for justice in working-class communities of color. Resilient Strategies partners with key grassroots organizations led by working class people of color. Current partner organizations include: Seed the Vote, San Francisco Rising, the Chinese Progressive Association, Trabajadores Unidos - Workers United, Black Futures Lab, Seeding Change, Bay Resistance, AAPIs for Civic Empowerment, and Black to the Future.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Contracts Manager oversees the administration of revenue-generating contracted programs and services carried out by partners of the Resilient Strategies Network, which comprises (over twenty) 501(c3), 501(c4), and PAC nonprofit organizations. The Contracts Manager ensures that RS Partners’ multiple city, state, and federal grants and contracts, fee-for-service engagements between 501c3, 501c4 and PAC nonprofit organizations, and independent consultant contracts are initiated, administered, and reported on in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner.
The Contracts Manager serves as the primary point of contact for RS Network partners, RS staff, and funders and external partners for matters pertaining to revenue generating contracts and manages processes and tasks around initiating, tracking and management, and reporting for all such contracts. The Contracts Manager is a member of the Resilient Strategies Development Team and works with staff across multiple departments and teams to serve partners in the RS Network.
