Fractured Atlas is seeking a full-time Visa Services & Member Advisor for our expanding Programs team. This position will serve as the primary reviewer and point of contact for international artist visa applications, while also interacting with our member artists on a day-to-day basis. We expect that this role will be approximately 50% international artist visa service support (managing deadlines for peer letters of consultation, emailing lawyers and international artists, reviewing application materials, etc.) and 50% fiscal sponsorship operations support (general administration, member-facing support, and operational support across the fiscal sponsorship program). This position does not provide legal advice or determine immigration eligibility. Training on Fractured Atlas's Fiscal Sponsorship and Visa Consultation procedures will be provided.
The successful candidate will be an engaging and tactful communicator who has an enthusiasm for the arts, is incredibly detail-oriented, has excellent time management skills, possesses a high level of patience and understanding (particularly as it relates to explaining the same information multiple times), knows when to take initiative, direction, and cease moving forward, and is able to operate and respond in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and collected. Candidates with prior work experience in the international visa space, arts administration, and/or customer service will likely excel.
