ABOUT THE POSITION
Responsibilities:
- Develop and cultivate strong, trusting partnerships with donors in collaboration with the CEO, board, and fundraising consultants
- Track and analyze development data from previous years to set ambitious yet achievable goals and benchmarks that align with annual budget projections
- Significantly grow the number of new donors and increase donor retention
- Use donor research tools to identify, pitch, and close prospective donors
- Ensure consistent cultivation, follow up, and reports for ongoing donor engagement by efficiently monitoring donor activity in Salesforce
- Work closely with staff to create compelling, effective, and reusable fundraising materials that clearly explain WEPOWER’s impact and vision
- Work with the CEO to manage the Board’s Development Subcommittee effectively to increase fundraising opportunities
- Leverage the expertise of partners and teammates effectively in funder meetings by coaching them on how to represent their work effectively
- Engage in weekly coaching and professional development experiences facilitated by WEPOWER’s fundraising consultant/coach and fully immerse oneself in fundraising training opportunities made available
- Oversee a grants manager to ensure grant requirements are met and tracked against the budget
COMPENSATION
$100,000 - $115,000 annually
