Reed is from Washington DC and currently serves as the Associate for Network Resources at EPIP. In his role, he helps to mobilize resources for EPIP to do its work and maintain relationships with the EPIP community, from EPIP Chapters to Institutional Members. He also supports the management of internal data and strategy on resource mobilization.
Reed is excited to join EPIP's effort to build power among entry and mid-level professionals in philanthropy to advance equity and belonging in the sector. Reed is passionate about community organizing for social change and mobilizing resources to community-led solutions. Prior to EPIP, Reed worked with the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy where he assisted the organization's Power Moves project through planning webinars, coordinating funder learning groups, and organizing data.
Reed received an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Colorado College. For fun, he likes to spend time outside exploring his new home of New York City and to host family dinners with roommates and friends.
