Non-Profit Administrator (PIN)

The Public Interest Network is a nationwide network of nonprofit groups, including Environment America, U.S. PIRG, and Fair Share, that is dedicated to bringing people together in the fight for a stronger society, a healthier planet, and a government that works for all Americans, not just corporations.

The Administrative team works provides operations support to groups nationwide. Responsibilities may include:

• Staff Support: Coordinate projects & schedules; create and maintain systems for tracking campaign product and goals; and maintain files and records.

• Communications: Coordinate internal communication between staff directors and departments.

• Event Logistics: Plan and organize staff retreats, campaign activities, trainings, and Board Meetings.

• Office management: Manage the organization’s physical infrastructure and information technology.

• Special Projects: Assist leadership staff and department heads with special projects as necessary.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be detail-oriented and highly organized, have a friendly and professional demeanor, and be mature enough to manage confidential and/or sensitive information. Candidates must be comfortable working with computers and technology and specifically must be comfortable working with Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate will be excited by the idea of making social change and winning on issues.

Candidates for this position should have between one and three years of administrative experience. We value experience with nonprofit organizations and political campaigns. Candidates must be able to make a two-year commitment.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary for this position is commensurate with relevant professional experience. TPIN offers a competitive benefits package.
