Membership Coordinator (BFG)

Founded in 1987 and located in San Francisco’s Presidio, the Biodiversity Funders Group (BFG) is a professional association of grantmakers with a shared vision for a sustainable, just and healthy future for all life on Earth, advanced by a vibrant and effective philanthropic sector.

BFG supports member-driven programs and special initiatives that focus on climate and energy, marine ecosystems, land and freshwater conservation, Mexico, Chile, the Andean-Amazon Basin, and global conservation. With an annual budget of $1.8M and a staff of eight, BFG hosts convenings, briefings, webinars, and other activities throughout the year. ABOUT THE POSITION

The Membership Coordinator plays a critical role as a communicator, connector, and organizer for BFG’s members and program participants.The Membership Coordinator develops and implements member communications, surveys, reports, and other resources to keep members involved with each other and with BFG staff. The Membership Coordinator supports the Executive Director, program staff, board members, and volunteer committees in producing engaging meetings, webinars, and other learning opportunities for BFG members and program participants. This position reports to the Executive Director. This is an emerging staff position with potential for growth.

COMPENSATION

This is a full-time position. BFG offers an excellent benefits package. Starting annual salary is $70,000.
