Founded in 1990, Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy (AAPIP) is a national membership organization whose mission is to expand and mobilize resources for AAPI communities to build a more just and equitable society. Our members include foundations and other grantmaking entities, professional staff and trustees of grantmaking institutions, as well as individual donors and philanthropy-serving professionals. AAPIP has eleven regional chapters across the United States. These chapters are centers for place-based advocacy, information sharing, leadership development and network building around AAPI issues and philanthropy.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy (AAPIP) seeks an exceptional professional to join our small but growing and dynamic team. The Administrative Manager is a full-time position responsible for the organization’s constituent management database system, technical functions of AAPIP’s operations, and supporting executive functions of the organization. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Administrative Manager works closely with and supports the President and Chief Operating Officer. Periodic overnight travel may be required.
The successful candidate will be results-oriented; have a demonstrated ability to work individually and as a consummate team player; and be adaptable. The ideal candidate must take initiative, be organized, and bring a passion for working on the issues in philanthropy and AAPI communities.
$65,000 - $75,000 per year
