EPIP Colorado's Leadership Journeys Luncheon brings together two of Colorado’s philanthropic leaders to share their journey into philanthropy and their path to leadership. Are you curious to know more about leadership within philanthropy? Do you wonder how equity and social justice play a role, or not, in advancing philanthropic efforts in our state? Katie Kramer (President and CEO, Boettcher Foundation) and Carlos Martinez (President and CEO, Latino Community Foundation of Colorado) will give us the inside scoop on how they got where they are today and their insights on philanthropy - the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Carlos Martinez has been the President/CEO of the Latino Community Foundation of Colorado (LCFC) since 2014. Prior to that, Carlos held various executive positions and led the transformation of several non-profit organizations in Colorado, California and Massachusetts and has worked in philanthropy at the executive level.

Katie Kramer has been the CEO of the Boettcher Foundation since 2017. She has come full circle with the foundation, from being selected as a Boettcher Scholar in 1993 to having served in various roles since joining the organization in 1997, including 15 years as vice president and assistant executive director.

Come learn more about these two dynamic leaders and their honest perspectives on philanthropy in Colorado. Tickets are $5.00 and will help cover the cost of a simple and filling lunch.

Room location and parking: We will be in the Training Center on the 1st floor. Visitor parking is available on the 4th level of the parking garage on the south side of the building. Accessible parking is available on the surface lot on the south side of the building.
