In philanthropy, we're sometimes a step (or two) removed from our nonprofit partners doing such incredible work in the community. But building strong connections to support and champion our grantees is actually at the core of our values as philanthropy professionals. That's why we are thrilled to partner with the One Percent Foundation to launch the very first EPIP Los Angeles Giving Circle. Please join us on Wednesday, June 18th for a special launch party to learn more!   By participating in the EPIP Los Angeles Giving Circle (password givela), you can take your philanthropic knowledge and experience to the next level:

• Meet and collaborate with a variety of emerging philanthropy professionals
• Get hands-on experience leveraging your dollars, expertise, and passion to improve our community
• Provide tangible support to an innovative, emerging nonprofit in the LA area

Don't worry, this is a no-obligation launch party! We're just excited to get the conversation started and to hear your ideas and questions. We've also invited a One Percent Foundation Board Member to tell us a little about the incredible impact of giving circles for donors and grantees alike. Both the party and the Giving Circle are open to non-members, so bring your friends! Register today! So, what exactly is the Giving Circle? Through the EPIP Los Angeles Giving Circle, you can make a small, $10 monthly donation (for a one-year commitment) and pool your gift with our group to help support a local nonprofit. As a participant you can nominate, vote on, and engage with an emerging organization that’s making a difference in Los Angeles. Leaders of the nonprofit we choose will also become part of the EPIP LA community of support, and will be invited to our educational and networking events held throughout the year.
