About the Department


Institutional Relations develops and stewards philanthropic relationships with corporate, foundation, and government entities that align with the values and mission of the Art Institute of Chicago. The team analyzes and crafts processes to facilitate this work, including the cultivation and stewardship of gifts for operating, exhibition, and special project support. In addition, the team crafts communications that demonstrate the value of the museum’s work to these constituents while internally representing the donor’s intentions for support.


What you will do:


The Project Manager of Institutional Relations supports the philanthropic engagement of corporate, foundation, and government entities. This includes implementing workflows to ensure that relevant information is captured in the museum’s CMS and support the stewardship of all department constituents.
