ABOUT THE POSITION

The Leadership Gifts Officer for California will work to strategically strengthen the statewide development effort to meet and exceed our ambitious annual fundraising goals, currently set at just under $4million for FY22. This person will partner with regional Development leadership and staff, the Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay Area Executive Directors, regional Advisory Board members, and other staff to initiate, plan, and manage fundraising efforts including donor research and cultivation, gift solicitation, stewardship, Advisory Board activities, fundraising events and partnership management with the Corporate and Foundations teams. 

The Leadership Gifts Officer is responsible for a portfolio of institutional funders and individual donors with capacity to give gifts at $10,000 and above. In addition, this position will work to advance Facing History’s visibility and profile in California.
