Senior Vice President of Programs and Advocacy (SFPE)

The Schott Foundation for Public Education is a national public fund serving as a bridge between philanthropic partners and advocates to build movements to provide all students an opportunity to learn.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Senior Vice President of Programs and Advocacy (SVPPA) will lead all programmatic efforts of the Foundation, working closely with grantees and external stakeholders to cultivate and support effective campaigns focused on building systems to provide all students an opportunity to learn. The SVPPA will be a critical leader, visionary, and partner to the CEO and the board in the achievement of Schott’s vision of a best-in-class social justice philanthropy that is integrated and intersectional in its approaches and fully aligned in its culture, operations, and systems. S/he/they will work to position Schott internally and externally as a leading force for change in alignment with grantees and other philanthropic partners to effectively respond to national challenges with urgency and impact.

The Senior Vice President is a member of the Foundation’s Leadership Team and oversees a team of directors, managers, associates, and consultants. The Senior Vice President works closely with the communications, development, and operations and finance teams.
