The Conservation Science Program Officer is expected to work closely withthe Foundation’s Conservation Science Advisor, Foundation staff, and withscientists, grantees, policymakers and consultants to effectively carry out theFoundation’s Strategic Framework. The Program Officer’s work falls into fourbroad categories: 1) developing and implementing the Foundation’sconservation science goals and strategies; 2) asserting leadership thatfurthers the Foundation’s interests in conservation science issues; 3) advisingand collaborating with Foundation staff and grantees; and 4) preparing anddelivering reports or other presentations to the Foundation Board, staff andexternal audiences.
