ABOUT THE POSITION

Humanity United is seeking a project intern to support the implementation of a participatory process to reimagine the peacebuilding system.

As part of the Peacebuilding team, you will contribute to our efforts to support locally-led peacebuilding. In this role, you will work closely with HU’s Peacebuilding programs team as well as partner organizations and a team of consultants to create the space for local peacebuilders to engage in design thinking and futures practices.

This role will be remote, and will report to the Associate Program Manager, Peacebuilding. This is a paid, hourly, non-exempt position, working approx. 15-20 hours per week throughout the project (Feb-June 2021). Specific days and hours of work will be mutually agreed, typically within the range of 9am-5pm Eastern but with flexibility to work across time zones. During the COVID-19 pandemic, all HU staff are working from home.
