Join EPIP Chicago for the third workshop in our 2015 tool-kit. Participants will hear from an experienced Chicago grantmaker about strategies and tactics for using the funder position to influence, build coalitions and help nonprofits beyond grantmaking. The workshop will consist of an interactive presentation led by experts Laura Kaufman and Alejandra Ibañez aimed at building the fundraising skills of participants.
Laura Kaufman has run foundations and non-profit organizations for 30 years. She is the owner and Principle Consultant of Partners in Effective Philanthropy. The firm helps nonprofits craft effective strategies for raising the funds they need and creating the change they desire.
Alejandra Ibañez serves as the Lead Program Officer at the Woods Fund Chicago. Alejandra brings nearly two decades of experience as a community organizer, convener and leader in Chicago’s nonprofit, philanthropic and public sector.
