Greater DC Diaper Bank is hiring an Evaluation and Partnerships Manager (EPM) to support the Director of Partnerships & Impact in all Greater DC Diaper Bank programmatic evaluation efforts.

How You Will Do The Job:

The EPM works closely with the Director of Partnerships & Impact to help the organization show the impact of its work and contributes to the quality monitoring of Greater DC Diaper Bank programming through analysis and reporting. The primary responsibilities include data collection, analysis, partner support and content development (ex. reports, stories, infographics). The EPM will work primarily with the Director of Partnerships & Impact, but may also assist in other program areas. This position will work extensively with data both in managing data collection efforts, as well as analyzing data, and creating dashboards for regular insights.  This position will help lead existing evaluation efforts, as well as develop new evaluation processes and projects.

 

This position will work at least three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) at the GDCDB warehouse located at our Warehouse offices: 8858 Monard Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20901.

 

Essential Functions & Primary Duties

The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Manage high-quality data collection, tracking, and analysis

  • Provide technical assistance to distribution partners around data and tracking
  • Ensure database maintenance with attention to detail when entering data and conducting regular data hygiene activities
  • Develop and maintain dashboards through data mining and reporting that provide critical insights to GDCDB leadership team and partners
  • Conduct site visits to GDCDB distribution partners
  • Support grant writing and funder reporting
  • Participate in warehouse inventory tracking
  • Assist with outcomes data collection and reporting
  • Analyze existing data to look for trends, stories, etc.
  • Help plan and develop new evaluation methods

 

How You Know If You Can Do The Job:

  • You have earned at least a Bachelor’s degree and possibly a Master’s degree in public administration, nonprofit management, data science, evaluation or related field
  • You possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • You have experience using databases and business intelligence tools such as Access, Excel, and Word. Salesforce experience is a plus
  • You have previous customer service experience and have demonstrated success working with the public
  • You have previous nonprofit experience, though not a requirement.
  • You have access to reliable transportation
  • You have demonstrated experience and/or have earned coursework in research methodology
  • You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and interested in pursuing a career that addresses domestic poverty and/or economic inequality

Required Hours of Work, Holidays, and Other Benefits

  • 20 – 30 hours per week – some work can be done from home
