Recent polls by The Chronicle of Philanthropy have found that while women make up the majority of positions at nonprofit institutions, less than 20% are led by women.
The same study indicated that 72% of all the women under 34 said they wanted to be a leader.
How can we work together to bridge this gap in the field?
Please join us for EPIP's first workshop in the Empowerment series with a focus on helping women in philanthropy define their roles as leaders and advance in their careers.
Working together, we will find inspiration from a leader in the field during the first half of the morning, and then learn key practices to enhance your career through the instruction of an executive coach.
This workshop aims to provide emerging women professionals in philanthropy with a safe space to reflect on their leadership practices and develop strategies to move forward in their careers.
Key takeaways of the morning are to develop an awareness of your leadership style, engage with peers in the field, and develop strategies you can use to advance your career.
