Creating Workplaces Where Women Can Thrive
October 22nd, 12:00 - 1:00 pm @ St. Louis MHB
Across the board, women are paid less than men, assume most low wage jobs, and are promoted at a slower pace. These factors exacerbate social and economic inequity in our region. This month we are joined by Lisa Weingarth, Executive Director of the Women's Foundation of Greater St. Louis (WFSTL). Come learn about the WFSTL's new strategic plan and initiatives to address the barriers to economic success for women through workplace, individual and policy change.
Prior to our conversation, please read this fact sheet on A Woman-Centered Economic Agenda created by the Institute for Women's Policy Research.
