Join EPIP St. Louis for a CoffeeChat! We will be sharing insights from the CHANGE Philanthropy 2019 UNITY Summit, where attendees explored strategies for shifting power to advance equity in the philanthropic sector.
Chapter Leaders Alyssa Curran and Kristin Cowart would love to engage with you in a dynamic conversation around their learnings and insights from the 2019 CHANGE Philanthropy UNITY Summit "Building & Bridging Power” and explore how we can apply these learnings to our work in the region.
Building Power: Supporting structural and institutional CHANGE by shifting philanthropic energy towards racial equity with intersectional investment into community-led solutions.
Bridging Power: Building relationships which leverage our collective power to ignite CHANGE that is rooted in an equitable society for all and is justice-oriented.
More about the UNITY Summit
The Unity Summit hosted over 1000 participants, from 10 different national affinity groups, with a focus on expanding individual and institutional practices in order to advance equity with an intersectional lens and with community at the center. Space was created for all attendees to participate as thought leaders and philanthropic activists and also learn from movement leaders' wisdom, audacious vulnerability and a commitment to action. We want to share with you the inspiring and transformative Unity Summit experience!
MHB Meeting Accessibility
