In 2018, on every 4th Tuesday of the month, different members of our EPIP St. Louis community will lead monthly discussion on a particular topic or article. Bring a lunch, grab a friend and come prepared to meet new people and discuss ways to move the sector forward.
This month we will hear from Cristina Garmendia, Equity Indicators Project Manager for the City of St. Louis. The Equity Indicators Project is an effort by the City of St. Louis to provide public accountability of the region's progress over time to reduce racial disparities in the priority areas identified in the 2015 Forward Through Ferguson report. This work is supported by 100 Resilient Cities, Rockefeller Foundation, City University of New York, and the United Way.
Prior to her appointment, Cristina served as the inaugural Senior Research Fellow of Metropolitan Equity at Rutgers Law in Newark, NJ and as a member of the Housing Transition Team for New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy. She earned an MPP degree from Harvard Kennedy School and BA in architecture from the Sam Fox School of Design at Washington University in St. Louis.
Hope to see you there!
