Everyday there are new headlines about diversity, inequity, and bias. These differences, embedded in our education, health, and criminal justice systems, are the result of decades of human biases implemented through positions of structural power. What can we, as cross-sector leaders, do to address and reverse this trend? How can we create communities that are welcoming for everyone to thrive? How do I, as a human who naturally has biases, account for these and ensure that they aren't negatively impacting my chapter’s, organization's, or grantees’ mission or bottom line?
Join us for a conversation about effective and inclusive leadership, and explore how our different elements of identity influence our performance toward the mission. This session will be for members of EPIP, YNPN, and Global Shapers, as well as leaders interested in these topics. Our facilitator will be Amy Lazarus, Founder and CEO of InclusionVentures.
