EPIP Philly | Coping with Stress & Caring for Self

We are currently living in times of compounded stress & the need to engage in compassionate self-care has increased. As people who are in service to others, we need you to invest time in taking care of yourself. It's important for you to value & honor yourself because you deserve to receive compassionate care. We also need you to be in a position to show up as your best self for the people you are in service to!

This session is created to help you to understand the ways that stress manifests in your body. We will also explore the ways that stress impacts or limits our abilities mentally, emotionally or spiritually. We will learn how to compassionately engage in mindfulness, how to enhance our emotional vocabulary & learn how to incorporate daily & effective self-care practices.

You will walk away from this session empowered with deeper awareness to identify the ways stress manifests in your body & will have practical tools to implement ways to cope with your stress & to care for yourself! This event is open to non-EPIP members and the entire EPIP network.

Please come to our session with a pen/pencil, basic drawing or coloring materials if you have them & some blank/lined paper.
