As we push through the uncertain circumstances of 2020, we all witness the continued fatal implications of systemic racism. With the recent events from the pandemic, primary elections, multiple deaths resulting from Police Brutality, EPIP Philadelphia is holding space for black, indigenous, people of color (BIPOC). We, BIPOC, have always had an extra burden (emotional, physical, physiological, spiritual, etc) to be “appropriate” when chaos arises; know this is a space where you do not need to be politically correct, buttoned up. We encourage you to bring your full self to this space and we come together to grieve, grow and cultivate joy. This event is designated as a people of color event only.
