Are you ready to deepen your practice of racial identity and meet other leaders of color in the philanthropic field? We heard from many of you the desire to build coalitions across communities of color and so we’ve answered that call. Join EPIP LA for its first official People of Color Network gathering and help us explore what solidarity in the field could look like.
During this casual lunch we will discuss the value of race caucusing and how our individual experiences inform our perspectives in the workplace and in our roles. Our goal is to provide a safe, brave, and inclusive space to connect with peers, strengthen solidarity within communities of color, and explore what resources are needed to support peers in the workplace and deepen our practices of liberation.
This gathering is open to EPIP members and non-members who identify as people of color. Lunch will be served.
12:00pm - 12:30pm: Mingle and food
12:30pm - 1:30pm: Informal discussion
