What does it mean to be truly equitable? How can we best communicate across social divides and power structures? And how does this help us become better at our work?
We’ll delve into those questions with EPIP LA, Southern California Grantmakers, and TRHT-LA in this day-long workshop facilitated by the California Conference for Equality and Justice (CCEJ). With over 50 years of service to Los Angeles County, CCEJ is recognized as a leading expert in the areas of social justice education, human relations and conflict resolution. During this interactive training, we will explore how identity and systems of oppression impact culture, practices and policies in philanthropy and beyond. You’ll learn about Restorative Justice practices, engage in dialogue with other participants, and create a personal action plan to put your newfound knowledge into practice.
Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments throughout the day will be provided.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds, so if the ticket price below is a concern for you, please contact us at [email protected], and we'll add you to the RSVP list.
