Join us Friday, August 22nd at 10:00 a.m. for The Power Table: Black Philanthropy Unplugged, in partnership with EPIP DC (Emerging Practitioners of Philanthropy) DC Chapter, Forbes BLK, Baltimore Community Foundation, and BLK ED Network for an an intimate, strategy-driven morning gathering designed to unite Black nonprofit leaders across the Greater Baltimore and D.C. region. In honor of Black Philanthropy Month, this experience centers connection, collective wisdom, and bold visioning.
Attendees will move through a gallery-style prompt walk, exploring curated questions about Black leadership, nonprofit strategy, and the philanthropic landscape. The first walk invites reflection and questioning; the second invites collective responses and strategic insight, all set to curated music with light bites and good energy. A portion of the proceeds from this event will support Give 8/28, a national day of giving dedicated to uplifting Black-led organizations.
