Avoiding Burnout for You and Your Grantee Partners
The nonprofit sector is notoriously full of hard-working professionals who will do whatever it takes to create social change. But, often that comes at a cost to us and our grantees, leaving us and fellow nonprofit staff tired and beleaguered. Join us as we discuss a few short articles and blogs on what individual and organizational self-care means specifically for the nonprofit sector. We will examine how we can build our own healthy habits around self-care and exchange ideas about how we can in turn encourage self-care with our nonprofit partners.
In this breakfast discussion, we will:
- Exchange our own self care practices, whether emergent or well-established, with our peers
- Talk about funder practices we have taken or observed to reduce grantee staff burnout
