The Opportunity

The Director of Emerging Strategies is a newly created role at the Foundation, leading the effort to sharpen our strategies and impact across the organization. Serving as a thought partner to the Executive Director, this position supports all strategic priority areas. The role brings together elements of program strategy and insight, research, impact measurement, and learning, and communications for both internal and external audiences. As such, this position offers a rare opportunity to play an essential part in framing the Foundation’s messaging and shaping future direction.

To Be Considered

Candidates with a minimum of seven years’ professional work experience from diverse backgrounds that might include foundations, nonprofits, successful start-ups, or social purpose companies are invited to apply. Candidates should have demonstrated success driving social change initiatives, especially using strategic philanthropy. A bachelor’s degree is required, an advanced degree is an asset. Experience in issue-related work is valued, as is expertise identifying the philanthropic levers that will optimize impact and advance social change.
