About the speaker

Alexandra Dickinson is the CEO and founder of Ask For It, a boutique communications training and consulting firm whose mission is to foster confidence and inspiration in leadership and life. Ask For It was her side hustle until she got laid off and decided to devote herself to it full time. In the past year she’s trained over 1000 women and men to negotiate. Her clients average salary increases of around $7,000, and some earn an additional $15,000+. Her professional background is in corporate communications and training. She’s a contributing writer for Women@Forbes and has a master of arts in media, culture and communication from New York University. She’s a certified yoga teacher, and she volunteers as the co-city manager of the NYC chapter of The Lady Project, a national nonprofit that connects, showcases and inspires awesome women doing amazing things.
