Reducing Bias in Grantmaking (EPIP CO)

Join EPIP Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Chapter of PEAK Grantmaking to learn how you can help reduce bias and embed antiracism in your institution's funding strategies, policies, and practices. The event will feature a presentation by PEAK Grantmaking's Programs and Knowledge Director Melissa Sines, followed by a panel discussion with Camisha Lashbrook (The Women’s Foundation of Colorado), Dianne Myles (AJL Foundation), and Dace West (The Denver Foundation). These Colorado-based funders will be discussing their experiences of reducing bias in philanthropy at their own organizations, sharing insights, lessons learned, and goals for continuing this work.

Join EPIP Bay Area for a discussion of the Bay Area housing crisis and philanthropy's role in combating this growing issue. The discussion will build from questions and topics presented in Episode 1: Prologue of According to Need, a project of 99% Invisible, and Episode 8: Tech Philanthropy of the Philanthropy and Social Movements podcast series produced by students at the Harvard Kennedy School, including what is being done to get people into housing and how the tech industry and tech philanthropy can get better at doing good.


Yoga & Healing Justice (EPIP LA)

Join EPIP LA for an interactive workshop to explore Healing Justice nd learn why it matters to the sustainability of social justice work. This workshop, led by Alicia ‘ayo’ Ohs, will focus on incorporating wellness into social justice work will include a short, accessible yoga practice that can be done at your desk. No previous yoga experience is necessary.
