The Recruiter is a member of the Talent + Community team, which is responsible for all organizational talent acquisition and serves as a conduit for growing and advising our extended network through our recruitment process, and creating ongoing opportunities to engage with and deepen their relationship with Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB).   This role sits as part of our People Team is part of the collective hub that services the employee experience.

Democracy Fund is seeking an entrepreneurial self-starter with fluency in cloud-based systems to support the growth and success of Democracy Fund and its extended network. The Recruiter provides seamless recruitment support to the Senior Advisor, Talent Acquisition, and works with every part of our community to grow and strengthen the capacity of our teams. We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience recruiting in collaborative, experimental, creative environments. You will be responsible for designing and managing internal team processes that not only ensure efficient, smooth-running recruiting systems but also focus on improving the overall employee and candidate experiences.

The position focuses on tracking and managing the recruitment process, including oversight of an administrative support staff member to ensure candidates move quickly and efficiently through our holistic interview process. The Recruiter will interview and screen candidates as well as initiate preboarding steps, such as offer letters and background checks, that lead to the onboarding handoff, which is led by the People Team Coordinator.

This role serves as a thought partner with the Senior Advisor, Talent Acquisition; staffs Employee Engagement Committee meetings; and supports the biennial rollout of the Great Place to Work Survey. The successful candidate will collaborate to create, deliver, and center dynamic DEIB experiences that span our internal and external communities.

You are a resourceful, highly collaborative team player who possesses strong written and verbal communication, planning, and organizational skills; excels at managing multiple priorities; and are able to work independently on projects from conception to completion.

The Recruiter reports to the Senior Advisor, Talent Acquisition, and collaborates closely with the People Team Coordinator.

COMPENSATION

Salary range begins at $101,740.50 per year.
