Individual Giving Manager

The National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) is the leading national voice for dignity and fairness for domestic workers in the United States. Founded in 2007, NDWA works for the respect, recognition, and inclusion in labor protections of domestic and home care workers across the country. NDWA is winning improved working conditions while building a powerful movement rooted in the human rights, dignity and equality of domestic workers, home care workers, immigrant women, and Black women.

NDWA was founded in 2007 by domestic workers and organizers from around the country. Our national alliance has grown from this founding group of 13 organizations to now more than 70 affiliate organizations, and local chapters developed by NDWA.  To date, the Alliance comprises more than 250,000 nannies, housekeepers, and home care workers in all 50 states.

NDWA seeks an entrepreneurial, creative, and relationship-driven Individual Giving Manager to serve as a member of the Development Team to implement the overall fundraising plan, ensuring that NDWA meets its annual goals and develops a strong financial base for the future. This person will serve a key role in maintaining our individual giving program, with a particular focus on growing and sustaining meaningful relationships with mid-level donors contributing between $500-$9,999 annually. They will also have an opportunity to learn about all aspects of our fundraising while helping to adapt and build systems to meet evolving needs, and work in an exceptionally mission-driven environment. The Individual Giving Manager’s key responsibilities will include the management of the mid-level donor relationships, implementation of a year-round engagement plan and solicitation strategy, and support for the overall individual giving program.
