2021 National Conference FAQ

Who is the EPIP conference for?

This year is our 20th anniversary, and we welcome all current and former EPIP members to join us for our conference and anniversary celebrations. At EPIP, we recognize emerging practitioners as anyone with 0-15 years of experience in the philanthropic sector, regardless of age. Every year we have foundation staff, students, consultants, and community members engage in our conference to learn how to elevate their philanthropic practice to build a more just, sustainable and equitable world.

When will the full conference program be available?

Our full conference program will be updated as information is available - in the meantime, the overview of programming is available hereThe complete program will be available by May 10.

Is the call for sessions closed?

Unfortunately, our call for sessions has closed and at this point, we are no longer in need of sessions. However, if you would like to share information about a speaker or topic for a future conference or EPIP webinar, please email [email protected].

Are scholarships available for this year's conference?

We have limited scholarships available for our conference. The application will open shortly and be open until May 25.

I want to volunteer...do you all need help?

Given the virtual format of this year’s conference, we currently we do not have a need for volunteers, as our planning committee will be available to provide support. However, email [email protected] and we'll get back to you should anything change. Additionally, we do not offer a special rate for volunteers.

Where will the next EPIP conference be?

In the fall of 2021, EPIP will be joining with our partners at CHANGE Philanthropy to host the next Unity Summit. EPIP's next national conference will be held in 2022, with additional details forthcoming later this year. Our conferences usually occur every two years alternating with the Unity Summit, though because of COVID this year looks different!
