Associate Director of Major and Planned Gifts

ABOUT THE POSITION

Marlborough School seeks an innovative, engaged, driven, highly organized frontline fundraiser with an entrepreneurial mindset to serve as a pivotal member of the Advancement Office. This full-time exempt position reports directly to the Director of Advancement. The Associate Director of Major and Planned Gifts is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with donors at the $25,000+ level, including closing six and seven figure major and planned gifts, preferably within the independent school and/or higher education setting. The position is also responsible for managing fundraising programs, developing strategies that generate higher levels of fundraising support, and implementing multi-year fundraising plans that increase major, principal, and planned gifts across all constituent groups of the School (alumnae, parents/families, trustees, friends, etc.). The position also establishes, maintains, and strengthens long-term relationships with major and planned gift donors, and converts prospects into gifts while working collaboratively with various colleagues and School leaders. The Associate Director works closely with the Director of Advancement, Head of School, Board of Trustees, and fundraising volunteer committee members. The Associate Director will have the opportunity to transform the lives of young women at Marlborough, providing students with the tools needed to become future leaders and the changemakers our world needs.  

 

COMPENSATION

120,000.00 to 150,000.00 Annually
