Program Manager, Foundation Relations

The Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health, in partnership with Stanford Medicine and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, unlocks philanthropy to transform health for children and families in Northern California - and around the world. Through fundraising and grantmaking, the Foundation drives scientific research, innovation, and policy change that will improve care, advance cures, and reform healthcare systems for this and future generations.  

 

ABOUT THE POSITION

WHAT YOU’LL DO

 

The Foundation Relations team engages with local, regional, and national foundations, developing relationships, pursuing grant opportunities, and stewarding gifts and grants received. Our portfolios include new prospects as well as longstanding donors. Foundation Relations partners closely with faculty and staff in child and maternal health programs throughout the Children’s Hospital and the School of Medicine. Our work has significantly increased philanthropic support for a wide array of innovative research, patient care, medical education, patient and family services, and community-based programs.

 

Under the direction of the Director, Foundation Relations, you’ll lead the extensive prospect research and donor stewardship programs, pipeline management, faculty support, and donor relations. This includes driving the stewardship of top donors, researching prospects, managing faculty/staff and stakeholder relations (including knowing their funding priorities and interests), communicating with internal teams for knowledge sharing and collaboration, and providing back up donor and administrative support.

 

COMPENSATION

$72k/yr-$80k/yr
