ABOUT THE POSITION
Santa Fe Recovery Center seeks a seasoned, mission-driven, and growth-minded Chief Financial Officer to join the organization during a time of pivotal and accelerated strategic growth. This leader will have demonstrable experience with Medicaid/Private insurance and with scaling an organization through collaborative development and execution with colleagues. Reporting to and partnering with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the CFO will be responsible for the overall management for the agency’s $20M budget, development of the organization’s financial strategy, and development and implementation of financial systems.
The CFO will have day-to-day responsibility for building, implementing, and managing the financial activities, serve as a thought-leader on the leadership team, and create financial policies and infrastructure to fit the needs of a growing organization. With an eye towards process improvements and scaling, the CFO will provide strategic oversight on internal systems and streamline business processes for better efficiency.
The CFO will be an inspiring leader who can work closely with the CEO, peers, direct reports, board members, auditors, external consultants, and other internal stakeholders to manage the financial and administrative needs of the organization. This position will manage a team of eight, with 3 direct reports, which include Director of Finance, Director of Billing, and Director of IT.
COMPENSATION
$150,000 - $175,000 (Salary is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skill set level and years of previous/applicable experience).

In Person Hybrid Option: Based in Santa Fe, NM or surrounding areas, we work in a hybrid environment. Our hybrid schedule allows continued flexibility for our staff with the option to work 2-3 days/week in the office and the remaining days working at home/remotely.
Remote Option: US based remote employees will be considered. They must be willing to travel to Santa Fe, NM once a month for 1 week for the first year. Travel and lodging will be reimbursed. After the first year, travel may be reduced based on the team and the organization’s needs. This position requires working in Mountain Standard Time (MST) zone hours.
